New album, big payoff

Jason Aldean’s third album, Wide Open, was released on April 7 and brought in over $100K in just the first week alone.

Wide Open reached the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and No. 4 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 chart.

“I knew that there was some excitement building for the new album because the crowds at our shows have been crawling the walls when we break into ‘She’s Country.’ I just had no idea that it would be this big. This blows my mind. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world right now,” Aldean said.
