Jason Aldean will be just one of several of country music’s biggest stars donating their time to perform at this year’s CMA Music Festival.
The event will take place at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn., June 10-13, 201o, with half of the net proceeds donated to benefit music education in the public schools in and around Nashville. Last year’s attendance broke all previous records and organizers are counting on a good turnout again this year, thanks in part to fresh faces like Aldean.
Other performers lending their talent to the lineup include Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum Carrie Underwood and the Zac Brown Band.
Until then, be sure to get your Jason Aldean tickets while he’s on the road with Chris Young and Luke Bryan through mid-April. It’s a show you don’t want to miss!

Jason Aldean has been added to the Country Music’s WE Fest, which will be held in Detroit Lakes, Minn., from August 5-7.
Aldean was announced earlier this month with Dierks Bentley and Montgomery Gentry. Already announced were Kenny Chesney, Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Randy Houser, Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols and Gretchen Wilson.

After Jason Aldean sold out his fall shows, he decided to extend his “Wide Open” tour into 2010. Aldean will be joined by Luke Bryan for the 30-city tour, which kicks off on Jan. 22 in South Carolina and runs through July 24 in Kentucky.
On his official Web site, Aldean says that he and Luke Bryan “grew up playing in some of the same clubs down in Georgia, so it will be really cool to have him out with us. . . He’s a total trip, so we’ll definitely have some laughs backstage every night. I’m pumped about this tour, and I can’t wait to take a few weeks off for the holidays and get right back out there.”

Jason Aldean will be performing at the Nov. 11 CMA awards! Other performers include Taylor Swift, Billy Currington and Daughtry (who will have a duet with Vince Gill)!
Aldean will also be at another awards show on Nov. 22—the 37th American Music Awards! Aldean recently snagged his first career nomination for the “Favorite Male Artist” in the country category. But it looks like he’s got some tough competition: Keith Urban and Darius Rucker have also been nominated.
“The AMA’s are one of the coolest award shows of the year…you never know what you’re going to see. One of my first memories of the show was the year Michael Jackson came out carrying Emmanuel Lewis…crazy! It’s great that I’ll get to be a part of it this year. I’ll be easy to spot since I’m sure I’ll be the only guy in the room representin’ with a cowboy hat!” Aldean said.

Jason Aldean’s third album, Wide Open, was released on April 7 and brought in over $100K in just the first week alone.
Wide Open reached the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and No. 4 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 chart.
“I knew that there was some excitement building for the new album because the crowds at our shows have been crawling the walls when we break into ‘She’s Country.’ I just had no idea that it would be this big. This blows my mind. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world right now,” Aldean said.

Here’s a chance to meet Jason Aldean in person at his concert at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT on January 23rd. All you have to do is sign-up for the Aldean Army, Jason’s official online community, then you will be eligible to sign-up for a chance to attend Jason’s Meet & Greet!
Meet & Greet registration begins Monday, Dec. 15 at 10 am (CDT), and will remain open for 24 hours. Participants will be chosen randomly and must be current Aldean Army members at the time of the show. In order to attend the Meet & Greet, you must have tickets to the show.
